Share the Dignity – It’s in the Bag Campaign 💕

Here at That Yarn Place, community means everything to us. When one of our lovely customers, Susan, approached us to help with this year’s Share the Dignity – It’s in the Bag campaign, we didn’t hesitate for a moment to say yes.

Throughout November, Share the Dignity will be running its annual It’s in the Bag campaign — a beautiful initiative that helps women and girls in need by providing them with essential items and a little kindness at Christmas.

How You Can Help

You can make a difference in two simple ways:

1. Pack a bag with essential items and drop it off to us here at That Yarn Place, or take it to your local Bunningsbefore the end of November.

2. Donate individual items. Next time you’re shopping, pick up a few extra essentials (you can find a list of suggested items on the Share the Dignity website) and drop them to us. We’ll pass them on to Susan, who will be busy packing the bags with love and care.

Your bag or donation will bring hope, comfort and dignity to a woman or girl spending Christmas in a domestic violence refuge or homelessness shelter.

It’s a small act of kindness that can make a world of difference.
