We love NautiKrall Crochet's modern update on the granny square that she uses in her Astrid Pillow and Love Blanket. Mallory has loads of free patterns as well has ones available for purchase. Mallory knows how to combine colours and we are fans!

This crochet blanket was made by a beginner using Nautikrall's abovementioned modern granny square.
