This base is a gorgeous soft base with a beautiful drape. The yarn takes dye differently to a merino nylon base as the yak has a natural grey tone which means the colour will be rich with brown to grey undertones. The silk in this base leave the yarn with a beautiful sheen. This base is a 4 ply (Australian term) or fingering weight.
This is a Non Super Wash yarn, hand wash your woolen items to preserve longevity and prevent felting and shrinkage.
