Learn to Crochet Series - # 3 In the Round Coasters

During this class you will learn the techniques required to crochet in the round.  You will create a quick and easy coaster - make a set of coasters and it becomes a great last minute gift idea for friends and family. Use the skills you learn during this class to crochet more complex "in the round" projects eg baskets and bags.

Duration: 2 hours

You will learn how to:

• start with a magic circle
• use the spiral technique 
• increase to create a flat round
  
• confidently identify and count your stitches
• crochet a round of shell clusters to finish your coaster 
• read a simple pattern
  

Required Knowledge:  Basic knowledge of how to complete chain, single crochet and double crochet is required.  This class reinforces and builds on these basic skills.  If you are new to crochet, we recommend you first complete our "Learn to Crochet Series - #1 The Basics".  

Included:

• 1 ball of Fiddlesticks Finch 100% Cotton

Please bring:

• 5mm crochet hook
• Scissors
• Darning needle
• Stitch marker

Please arrive 5 minutes prior to your class to select your yarn.

• Things happen and sometimes you cannot make a class.  If you give us 7 days notice you will receive a full refund.  Less than 7 days a full refund can only be given if your spot in the class can be filled.  But we are happy to transfer you to another class.  If you are doing a multi-day class we are unable to give a refund or credit for change of mind or cancellation once the class has started.
