Workshop 1: Fit Knits
Date & time: 9:30 am – 12:30 pm Saturday 30 May 2026
Learn to knit garments that fit perfectly, every time! Let knitting designer and teacher, Pru Raymond, assist you to get accurate body measurements and create a reusable, personal template to refer to when selecting sizes in commercial patterns, or designing your own. Develop a working understanding of ease, gauge and pattern customisation
Materials Required:
• Needles: 4 mm knitting needles (circular or straight)
• Yarn: 1 × 50 g 8 ply / DK yarn
• Notions: Dressmakers’ measuring tape – 150 cm–200 cm
Skill Level
This workshop is suitable for knitters of all levels: knitters who have made lots of garments but would like to improve the fit of their garments, or knitters who are about to embark on their first knitted jumper.
Morning tea will be provided.
