"The Year of the Blanket!" kicks off with....

February - Shelley Husband's Heirloom Sampler Blanket (crochet)

This blanket project is suitable to savour throughout the year - no need to rush, great to have beside you as a special work-in-progress while working on other projects.  Take the time to learn and enjoy Shelley's "seamless" way of crocheting and before you know it you will have created a blanket to treasure forever!

March - Stephen West's Painting Honeycombs Blanket (Knit)

In the world of knitting, you can't beat Stephen West when it comes to creating designs with impact whilst remain simple in technique.  His Painting Honeycombs Blanket is a perfect example.  This stunning blanket can be knit in two sizes to suit your preference.  Stephen describes this blanket to be "filled with colour popportunities" - the options are endless!  A perfect knit blanket for adventurous beginners and beyond.

April - Coastline Sunburst Hexi Blanket by NautiKrall Crochet (Crochet)

Mallory Krall the designer behind NautiKrall Crochet, creates blanket designs that ooze comfort and warmth.  When finished, this blanket will become the one you grab for a cozy relax on the couch.  If you are after a project you can pick up and mindlessly work on while watching a movie or bingeing your latest fave series, this is it.  Work on your circles then watch them become hexagons during the quick & easy continuous-join process - and the bobble border is the perfect finishing touch!

May - Celtic Traveller Throw by Melissa Burke (knit)

The Celtic Traveller blanket pairs two gorgeous cable patterns, nestling them together to create a stunning design.  When designing Melissa's first thought is "I don’t want to design things that are out of reach (skill-wise) for some knitters, especially those newer to knitting."  So, whilst this blanket will definitely stretch some skill sets and we believe it is most suited to an intermediate knitter, it can also be a great learning process for those with less experience.
